OLD SPANISH CARPET. The design and colouring suggests an origin of Cuenca in eastern Spain but it is much more densely knotted and firm. Maybe it was woven in another workshop, perhaps Granada or Murcia to a design from Cuenca. It is in perfect condition and has a very pleasing and relaxing overall design. Reference 1787. Size 292 x 196cms. €1,650.
