Truck drivers in parts of the North-West Frontier drive works of art. The designs are inspired by religious motifs and good luck charms and rival the weight of goods the truck can carry.

A partly woven silk rug is still on the loom in this village in western Anatolia. It was such a great piece I bought it and collected the finished piece on the next trip.
