LURI PERSIAN TRIBAL BAG A rare and small purse or jewellery bag made by Lurs in the region of Nazarabad in south west Persia. The face and reverse are completely different designs and one shows an interesting portrayal of a goat. Both sides are piled and have excellent, lustrous wools. Reference 1865. 19 x 18cms. Euros 280.

CAMEL HEAD DRESS - PERSIAN KURDISH OR LURI an extraordinary example which is complete with original hand beaten metal rings and plaited ropes. In addition to the main vertical spike there is an additional smaller cap surmounted by a blue ceramic bead and horse hair tassel. The condition is perfect.
