AFGHAN STORAGE BAG An old and unusually large bag with magnificent workmanship and weave on both front and reverse sides. It is complete with the original fastening loops and originates from the town of Labijar, which is in north west Afghanistan. There appear to be no similar pieces published. The bags are in excellent condition and complete with the original goat hair fastening loops. They are probably from a beloulch group near Herat in north west Afghanistan, athough I bought them in the bazaar in Quetta. Ref. 290 Size 105x42 cms Price €850.-
